Our Mission



​         We are dedicated middle schoolers Michael Pratt, Azelea Westray, Keval Welch and Muhammad Mohsin and we are trying to make a change. We need congress to act. We understand that we are all going through tough times with sequester cuts, fiscal cliffs and budget cut deadlines but whats the use of fixing on economy if the future of this country is built on kids with built up anger, killing people because of what their parents did to them or didnt do with them or the fact that their parents were greedy enough to sell them. The UNCRC helps with this. The United Nations had made the Convention on the Rights of the Child which outlined all the rights of minors. It was put it into affect in 2 September 1990, after it was ratified by the required number of nations. Currently, 193 countries are party to it, including every member of the United Nations except Somalia and the United States. Our goal is to try and convince the US Senate to ratify it. It was officially signed in 1995 by the Clinton administration but was never ratified. We hope to ensure its ratification. You can help by signing our petition.
